Visiting this page

The public page sets no cookie, runs no analytics and loads nothing from another site. Vercel hosts it, and its logs record each request's time, path and IP address for a short period under Vercel's own policy.

What a case reads

For each dispute or refund on a Stripe account whose events reach the desk, refundline reads from Stripe the charge, the dispute and the Checkout Session, which include the customer's name, email address and what they bought, and from Printful or Prodigi the order's status, ship date and tracking number. It reads these to draft the evidence and to stop a print that has not shipped.

What is kept

Without a case store, nothing: the desk reads Stripe each time it opens. With a case store, each case, including the customer's name and email address as Stripe holds them, is kept for seven years after the case closes, the same period as the order it belongs to, in the store named in the operator's settings.

Who else handles it

Stripe holds the payment and dispute records and receives the evidence the owner chooses to send, which goes on to the card issuer. Printful and Prodigi hold the print orders. refundline sends no email and no message to the customer.

Your choices

A customer of a shop that uses refundline can ask that shop, or support@painted.app, for a copy of their case or for its deletion from the case store. Stripe's own records follow Stripe's rules. We answer within 30 days.
